3 Ways To Style A Floral Top

Last Friday, I attended the Ann Taylor Factory store located in Tanger Outlets for a Blogger Meetup. While there, we bloggers were challenged to style one piece of clothing three different ways. Like a bee to a flower, I was instantly attracted to this adorable Floral Ruffled Neck Top. (Yellow is such a happy color, and I’m really trying to stay positive as we try to conceive Baby #2.) In the end, I loved the top so much that I decided take it home with me. Here are the 3 easy looks I came up with!

Style #1 Ruffled Top and Leggins

RUFFLED TOP| PANTS| SHOES| BACKPACK – use code: Sassyteacherchic for 15% off the backpack.

This top is black, white, and yellow- so I simply choose one of the three colors to wear on bottom. Why slim/skinny fitting pants? In order to maintain your shape, you want to have the opposite fit on top and bottom. So if the top is loose, then you want fitted bottoms. If the bottoms are loose, then you want a fitted top. This look is perfect for the classroom/office, and can be put together in a pinch!

Style #2 Ruffled Top & PomPom Pencil Skirt

RUFFLED TOP| POM POM PENCIL SKIRT| HEELS | PURSE

For a more dressy look, I paired the floral ruffled neck top with a pencil skirt and closed toe heels. This skirt has adorable little pom poms on the hem adding a playful touch to it’s sleek design. This look is great for Sunday best, the office, or another occasion where your styled need be elevated. A simple black bag adds the final touch.

Style #3- Ruffled Top & Skinny Jeans

My final look is more laid back. Following my opposites rule, I picked dark washed skinny jeans (instead of wide leg jeans) and cuffed the hem for a more laid back look. An open toe sander adds to the casual vibe. Finally, add a cross-body bag or backpack purse are you’re weekend ready! I’ve linked both bags for your. So there you have it- 3 easy ways to style a floral top! There is no need to buy an new wardrobe each season. One or two well styled pieces will do the trick, and save your wallet. I’m curious-whhich style was your favorite? Leave a comment below! Thanks so much for stopping by!
