When autumn comes to mind we think, warm and cozy. However, fall is just beginning here in North Texas. We are in the 80s now, which is much cooler than it has been, but compared to our northern states, the south is still very warm. What’s a girl to do?
This week, on the blog, I’ve partnered with Ann Taylor Factory to show you their new styles for Fall 2018. Join me each Wednesday in October for a fall style tip featuring an item/outfit from Ann Taylor Factory. Let’s get started:
Fall Transition Tip #1 – Look for lightweight materials that feature bold fall colors.
This time of year, I love wearing bold color for fall, even when the temperatures outside are still warm! Think burgundy, wine, olive, wheat, and plums! Today, I’m wearing burgundy in a fun and colorful way. I found this ruffled floral top at Ann Taylor Factory for under $30! The turquoise really pops against the burgundy. Because it’s sleeveless, it’s a great piece to wear during our warmer temperatures. Adding a simple cardigan can help keep those chills away when the air conditioner kicks on in the work place. Best of all, with the floral details, this ruffled top is something that I can wear again in the spring! I paired it with my favorite pair of burgundy trousers, simple jewelry, and my new handbag.
