Chic Buffalo Plaid

20170120_171656(2)In the past plaid was often associated with farming, the country side, or hiking in the woods. However, in today’s time this is not the case. Romewe has certainly put a chic spin on plaid with its new Buffalo Plaid High Low Tunic Shirt

“She can rock them high heels, but she’d rather wear jeans and a plaid shirt.” -country thang

This weekend I decided to rock my new plaid shirt. After consulting the measurements, I chose a medium size. The length fit perfectly! The cut was not too loose or boxy.  The fabric was thicker than normal t-shirt material whuch was very pleasing.  However, I found it odd there is only one breast pocket. Overtime I feel that its not a nuisance, but it adds to the style of this piece. Surprisingly, there were a number of stay strings when the shirt was hemmed. It felt as if it had been quickly swen together and the seamstress didn’t take time to cut the the stray threads. However, with a quick snip of the scissors, the Buffalo Plaid Tunic Top was ready to be worn.

Overall, I really like this top. The price is right for the quality of this trendy piece. I will getvmany wears fromnwith as our mild winter continues. Additionally,  it’s the perfect chic top for a trip to the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo. Dress up the Buffalo Plaid High Low Tunic Shirt with the perfect pair of skinny jeans and tall boots for a chic everyday style. Add a moto jacket for a bit of edge. Finally, keep it simple by adding a long necklace and matching earrings that doesn’t compete with the print of the shirt. 👗Tip: Long necklaces worn with tunics help to lengthen your torso all the more so. 👗

Dont forget to style your hair.  For me that means a quick installation of my Irrestible Me Clip-ins. I love how I can go from shoulder length hair to mid back length hair in a matter of minutes. If you’d like to learn more about Irrestible Me, check out my previous post. To pull it all together I added my favorite black hat and Maui Jim shades. That’s it. Simple, chic, and edgy. I’m to go!  I hope you have a good weekend. Thanks for stopping by!

you look fabulous! I’ll admit that coming from The UK I never used to wear plaid, now that I’m in Canada I wear it all the time. It can look really stylish depending on how you wear it!

I love this! I think the whole “farm look” definitely depends on how you pair your plaid and what prints you’re using! You look so chic in this look and totally not farm girl esque at all 😉

Thank you so much! I have found that Romewe is good for trendy pieces only, not kong term pieces. It’s fast fashion. Be sure to measure yourself when ordering as the sizes are dufferent from US sizes.

LOVE the Buffalo Check!! I also think it can look a bit country if it isn’t paired well but you did it PERFECTLY with the black leggings and OTK boots. And what a perfect event to wear this outfit to…a rodeo!?!?!
